With a Cert III and Cert IV in Fitness, Emma has been trained by PT Academy, who pride themselves on revolutionary training practices and focus on functional, integrated approaches to both health and human movement.

Emma is no stranger to the fitness industry, with many years experience as a swim instructor and lifeguard and more recently shifting her focus to regaining her pre-children body! She enjoys trail running, ultra-marathons and resistance training.

Emma also has a degree in Behavioural Science (with a Psychology major) so she knows how to motivate you, strengthen your mind and push your body to places it “thinks” it cannot go. This translates into reaching your goals faster!

She is the mother of two school age children and understands the struggles faced by mums trying to “juggle it all”. Let her help you on the journey to getting that pre-baby body back or even better ... improve on it!

Emma's Psychology major gives her a BIG advantage in this industry. She appreciates that your mind can sometimes hold your body back. Everybody is motivated differently and her aim is to see each client as the unique individual that you are. We are often stronger than we think, let Emma improve your mental strength and reap the rewards.

Tailored PT sessions are held in a brand new, private studio based in Mount Eliza. In beautiful bush surrounds, the gym has all the necessary tools, including functional training equipment.

Fitness consultations or assessments, are primarily about getting to know all about you. Discussing in detail what you would like to gain from your personal training (your goals), identifying training preferences you may have, and understanding what has or hasn't worked for you in the past. Depending on your goals, this appointment will often include some measurement to establish baselines for us to gauge results against. A mini work out is also included, to accurately assess your level of fitness and ability. Ongoing re-assessments are also available.

  GROUP FITNESS  

Group fitness classes are a fabulous affordable way to push towards your fitness goals. The motivating team-like atmosphere offers support, accountability, friendships and structure. We are all in it together! It also often releases those competitive juices that we all instinctively have, enabling you to reach new fitness levels sooner.

“Kickstart Your Day” is a fitness class involving a variety of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), cardio and resistance training. This class aims to keep the body guessing, so that there is no chance of it becoming accustomed to training, and falling into a rut. Perfect for those who love diversity, a challenge and have an insatiable hunger for results. Catering for all fitness levels, Emma ensures that there are options for everyone based on each individual's ability and experience. So whether you are a beginner or elite athlete, so we've got you covered!

The groups are small (capped at 10) to ensure you get the attention you need to practise good form, minimise the chance of injury and achieve great results!

  NUTRITION  

If you want to become healthier and work towards your fitness and wellness goals, you simply cannot separate “exercise” and “nutrition”. They are so closely related, therefore in order to give yourself the BEST chance of success, you need to review both areas.

Emma is excited to be working on a new little project involving Nutrition! Watch this space people!
